Question: What is the suggested oil-change frequency?

DriverSide service schedule for 2010 Prius is every 5,000 miles; however, Toyota changed that frequency in 2010 to every 10,000 miles. Why doesn't DriverSide support the Toyota recommendation?

DriverSide should NOT support that change. Many of the oil burning and other clogged systems can be attributed to longer intervals. Change your oil every 5k and you will NOT regret it.
